Rich and I went to a QTC play called 'When the Rain Stops Falling'. Turned out to be quite amazing. One of those plays where you have to be sure to read the programme fist! Not having done so one was a bit bemused to start with. Most characters have two actors one for when they are young and another for when they are older. Took me a while to work out who a couple of them were. Dialogue was really good although, being slightly deaf and with the music playing, I did miss a bit. However I would give it 4 stars for being quite riveting and all the bits falling into place dramatically, one with an audible ghasp from the audience.
Came home to a spicey supper of soup a la Jess!
This is a first for me too, as I have never been on a blog before.
ReplyDeleteSounds like it was a good play and night out.
Not going out tonight as waiting with all other rugby tragic's to see if the Aussie's can finally get one up on those Kiwi Ba@#$ta^ds. We can all live in hope.
Hope its a good game for us all to watch so keep the fingers crossed.
80 and it would seem that it doesn't take much to egg you on !! As for the rugby, well Tim must be still celebrating or inebriated as I text him about 4 times during the game and no response !!
ReplyDeleteGo the Senile ... Btw, I must be due for my Seniors card soon ... can't wait.
